Notre vision
Les Ami(e)s de la Kouchibouguacis désirent promouvoir l'importance du travail communautaire afin de bâtir une économie forte et un écosystème en santé pour les générations futures. Nous envisageons une communauté offrant une qualité de vie supérieure, qui encourage le développement économique et social, et qui est en mesure d'utiliser l'environnement à des fins récréatives.

Notre mandat
Notre groupe se propose d'informer et d'assister les gens de la communauté afin qu'ils soient en mesure de prendre des décisions éclairées et de promouvoir des comportements qui favoriseront un enviromment sain sur le plan écologique, économique et social. Notre groupe se propose aussi de prendre action par l'entremise de travaus de restauration et de prijets visant la conservation des habitats. Diverses activités vone permettre au groupe de remlir son mandat:

- La préparation de diverses activités éducatives permettent la sensibilisation des jeunes et de toute autre personne de la communauté;
- La production de bulletins de nouvelles, de dépliants d'information, d'un site Web et d'autres matériaux pour véhiculer ces informations à la communauté
- La mise sur pied d'un centre d'information permettent à la communauté de connaître davantage son environnement.

Notre approche
Notre groupe a la conviction que tous les éléments nécessaires à la réussite de ce projet se trouvent à l'intérieur même de la communauté. Il est primordial que celle-ci participe activement au processus décisionnel quant aux étapes de réhabilitation et au maintient de la santé du bassin hydrographique.

Our Vision
The Friends of the Kouchibouguacis wish to promote the value of community work in building a strong economy and a healthy ecosystem for future generations. We envision a community that offers a superior quality of life, encourages economic and social development, and where the natural environment can be used for recreational purposes.

Our Mandate
Our group intends to bring information and assistance to people in the community to enable them to take enlightened decisions, and to encourage behavior that will promote a healthy environment in ecological, economic and social terms. Our group also intends to take action through its restoration efforst and habitat preservation projects. Seceral activities will enable the group to accomplish its mandate.
- Preparing a number of educational activites to promote awareness in young people and in the entire community 
- Producing a newsletter, information brochures, a website and other support material to disseminate the information to the community
- Creating an information centre where the community can improve its knowledge of the environment

Our Approach
Our group is convinced that everything required for success in the undertaking can be found within the community. It is of primary importance that the community participates actively in the decision making process concerning the steps to restore and maintain the health of the watershed.
